Leadership
An Executive Committee of the Uptown Alliance consists of the elected officers chosen at the Annual Meeting held every January. A nominating committee prepares the slate for the election. There are no specific requirements for serving as an elected officer. Having a stake in the future of Uptown Urban Center is the most typical reason people decide to take a leadership role.
For 2010 the elected officers are:
Co-Presidents: John Coney and Rick Hooper

Treasurer: Keith Welle
Vice President –Administration: Stu Levy
Vice President-Police Liaison: Alan Panitch
Vice President- Transportation: John Coney
Vice President – Outreach: Jack Hawkins
Vice President- Publicity: Ann Pearce
Vice President – Neighborhood Events: John Gessner
Vice President – Senior Affairs: Jane Couchman
Vice President- Parks : Keith Biever
NEW Planning and Transportation Committee was formed by John Coney in January 2009 to combine two topics that are always on the Uptown Alliance agenda.
