Sound Transit Link Expansion:

The Uptown neighborhood is an integral part of the Sound Transit Link light rail Ballard extension, with our primary focus being the Uptown/Seattle Center station and the route proceeding through our busiest economic corridor. Uptown Alliance is participating in the review and comment on the DEIS for this station, actively involved in advocating for neighborhood businesses and organizations, disseminating communication and organizing community outreach. We are also supporting the South Lake Union neighborhood with advocacy and communication participation for the Harrison Street station that will be located near Aurora Avenue and will also serve the East side of Uptown and Seattle Center.
