Fatcork - Celebrate Every Day!

ree

POP - FIZZ - Mmmm! Those are sounds you will hear in the cozy tasting room at Fatcork. This perfect space nestled below street level on West John Street off Elliot Avenue has been the home of Fatcork ever since owners Bryan and Abigail Maletis opened their unique business in 2010.

Bryan is passionate about selling only the very best champagne, produced by the people who also grow the grapes and tend the vines, known as “growers champagne”. There are over 19,000 growers in Champagne, France, but only 500 of these growers also produce their own champagne, usually by family-run operations. Bryan hand selects and carries over 200 different champagnes from at least 20 families. He has the champagne shipped directly from the growers to Seattle, which makes it more affordable. Bryan personally visits each farm and meets with the owners once a year. This direct “grower to table” business model for champagne is the only one of its kind in the United States.

At Fatcork you can stroll through their champagne cave and select a champagne of your choice to purchase, or enjoy an informative champagne tasting in the tasting room for $40 (waived with purchase). Their knowledgeable staff will be happy to help you with a special food pairing or to select a perfect gift.

Even better, join the Champagne Club and get your bubbly delivered right to your door! Members receive complimentary tastings, special pricing, members only events, first dibs on rare cuvées and more!
